Bloomberg, who tapped his $5.1 billion personal fortune to fund the second-term splurge [$85 million], spent $112 per vote and beat his opponent by a landslide. Democrat Fernando Ferrer struggled to raise money and spent just over $9 million total - about $19 per vote.
